How to seriously gain 34 pounds of muscle in 9 weeks

As you may know, I suffered a pretty bad shoulder injury a while back that required surgery. This was the result of me being stupid in the gym. My high school teachers were right; I am a knucklehead, and I take full responsibility for my actions.

I went into the hospital weighing 227 pounds and after a few months of being laid up, unable to train I was down to 179!!! This was devastating to say the least. Friends were horrified by the site of me and thought there was something wrong with me.

Which, come to think of it, is no different than the reaction they have every time they see me, no matter what I weigh.

Because of my extreme hardgainer genetics I lose size quicker than anyone I’ve ever met. And if I didn’t know exactly how to train, eat and recover properly it would take me forever to build muscle.

Being that small, weak and skinny was very depressing. I had worked my whole life to get away from that look and that feeling. During my rehab I hated to even leave the house because I didn’t want people to see me. For the first time in my adult life my self confidence was waning and I was genuinely embarrassed by the way I looked.

I knew that as soon as I rehabbed my shoulder I had to gain muscle back as fast as humanly possible. I couldn’t stand the humiliation anymore.

But, like most of you, I didn’t have the luxury of being able to spend countless hours in the gym and, at 35, I don’t have the same recovery ability of a Division I college athlete.

Luckily I had been experimenting with a new system on hundreds of clients and coaching group members of mine for the last two years. After thousands of hours or trial and error we had perfected the system and had created a way to build muscle, strength and explosive power simultaneously in average guys like you and me.

So when I got healthy I knew that this system was just what I needed to pack size back on as fast as possible. In just 9 weeks I was able to go from 179 to 213.

Unfortunately, my stupidity reared its ugly head again at 213 and I tweaked my shoulder. This minor injury put me on the shelf again for a few weeks. But I got back in the gym again yesterday and am ready to get back after it, full steam ahead.

By following this system I will be up to 230 pounds in May. Hopefully then my head won’t look like it’s too big for my body anymore;)
